- Greeting Customers: Welcomes clients, listens to car problems, and documents vehicle issues or maintenance requests.
- Translating Tech Talk: Explains complex mechanical work from technicians into explicit, simple terms for the customer.
- Providing Estimates: Prepares written cost estimates for parts and labor, and discusses warranty coverages or potential savings.
- Managing Workflow: Schedules service appointments, coordinates with the parts department, and tracks repair progress with technicians.
- Providing Updates: Calls or texts customers with status updates and lets them know when their vehicle is ready for pickup.
- Closing Services: Explains the final invoice, handles payments, and resolves any customer complaints
