We are looking for an experienced CAD Technician AutoCAD MEP to support the delivery of MEP projects in coordination with our UK-based Engineering and CAD Management teams, following established project standards, workflows, and quality requirements.

The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of AutoCAD drafting, MEP drawing understanding, multidisciplinary coordination, drawing conventions, Xrefs, blocks, layers, and project documentation.

The role requires a technically strong, detail-oriented, and collaborative CAD professional who can communicate effectively with UK Engineers and CAD Managers, follow established QA/QC processes, identify drawing and coordination issues, and deliver accurate CAD outputs within project deadlines.

Role & responsibilities

- Prepare MEP/HVAC shop drawings, layouts, coordinated drawings, and As-Built drawings using AutoCAD.
- Draft ductwork, chilled water piping, refrigerant piping, ventilation, and other MEP service layouts as per design requirements.




- Prepare detailed sections, elevations, schematics, equipment layouts, and installation drawings.
- Coordinate MEP drawings with Architectural, Structural, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Fighting services.
- Prepare and update equipment schedules, layouts, schematics, and project documentation.
- Maintain and manage AutoCAD blocks, layers, Xrefs, templates, and drawing standards.
- Use AutoCAD automation tools to improve drafting efficiency and reduce repetitive tasks.
- Manage drawing exports, plotting, printing, PDF production, and drawing issue/revision control.
- Review drawings for accuracy, coordination, and compliance with project/client standards.
