Designation : Buyer -Rail Asset

Location : Pune

Manage procurement operations and supplier relationships across critical rail freight assets and industrial services including wagon leasing, modular solutions, and steel logistics .

Role Brief:

- Strategic Procurement & Sourcing
- Cost reduction and fleet management strategy
- Contract Management
- Develop the procurement strategy for your portfolio based on TCO method (Total Cost of Ownership)
- Supplier & Market Intelligence

Prefer candidate with

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Procurement, Engineering, Supply Chain, or Business
- 5+ years to 12 yrs experience in strategic purchasing for transport procurement / logistics
- Deep knowledge of rail logistics, supply chains, and supplier contracting.
- Experience handling modular wagon systems, retrofits, or multimodal procurement
- Solid analytical, interpersonal, and commercial decision-making skills.
- Excellent Negotiation and communication skills.
- Self-driving and motivated
- Able to manage key stakeholders
- Languages: Fluent in English; ( other European language will be a plus)
- Experience in SAP , Ariba, Ivalua
