We are looking for an experienced Showroom Head to lead the operations of a 1,50,000 sq. ft. large-format Furniture & We are looking for an experienced Business Vertical Head – Retail Furniture & Décor to take ownership of a new large-scale retail business in Raipur, Chhattisgarh .

The business is developing a 1,50,000 sq. ft. large-format Furniture & Décor showroom , supported by a new 2,00,000 sq. ft. furniture manufacturing facility .

This is a business leadership role , not a conventional showroom management position. The person will be responsible for building and scaling the retail vertical, including business strategy, sales, operations, team building, customer experience, merchandising and commercial performance .

Key Responsibilities

- Take end-to-end ownership of the Retail Furniture & Décor business vertical .
- Develop the retail business strategy, commercial model and growth plan.
- Lead the operations of the 1,50,000 sq. ft. large-format showroom .
- Build and lead the complete retail organisation across sales, customer experience, merchandising and operations.
- Develop sales strategies and drive revenue, margins, conversion and overall profitability.
- Define product mix, category strategy, pricing and merchandising in coordination with the management team.
- Build systems, processes and KPIs for a large-scale retail operation.
- Analyse customer behaviour, sales data and market trends to identify new opportunities.
- Work closely with the manufacturing, design, procurement, marketing and finance teams.
- Develop solid coordination between manufacturing and retail , ensuring the right products, collections and inventory are available for the market.
- Lead new product launches, collections,



campaigns and retail activations.
- Drive visual merchandising, showroom zoning and overall customer experience.
- Build a high-performing sales and retail management team.
- Establish strong reporting, forecasting and performance-management systems.
- Take ownership of the vertical's revenue, profitability, customer experience and long-term growth .

What We Are Looking For
- Proven leadership experience in Furniture, Home Furnishing, Décor or Lifestyle Retail .
- Experience managing a large-format retail business or showroom network.
- Strong commercial understanding with ownership of revenue and profitability.
- Experience building and managing large teams.
- Strong understanding of furniture retail, customer behaviour, merchandising and category management.
- Ability to develop and execute business strategies rather than only manage day-to-day operations.
- Experience working closely with manufacturing, sourcing or product teams will be an advantage.
- Candidates who have managed 50,000+ sq. ft. retail environments or large retail businesses will be preferred.
- Strong analytical, leadership, negotiation and stakeholder-management skills.
