Job Title: Business Development Manager

Working Hours: 10:30 AM – 7:30 PM

Salary: ₹60,000 – ₹70,000 per month

About the Role

Melorbis is looking for a driven and resourceful Business Development Manager to lead sponsorship acquisition, partnership building, and end-to-end event operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for bringing in business sponsors, managing event finances, and overseeing venue and logistics planning — ensuring every Melorbis event runs smoothly, on budget, and backed by strong partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify, pitch, and secure business sponsors and corporate partnerships for Melorbis events and programmes
- Build and manage a pipeline of potential sponsors, brand collaborators, and strategic partners
- Negotiate sponsorship packages, deliverables, pricing, and contracts
- Oversee financial planning and budgeting for events, including cost estimation, tracking, and reporting
- Manage overall event finances — sponsorship revenue, expenses, vendor payments, and profitability
- Source, evaluate, and finalize event venues/locations based on requirements, budget, and audience size
- Coordinate end-to-end event logistics — venue booking, vendor management, permissions, and on-ground arrangements




- Build and maintain relationships with vendors, venue partners, and service providers
- Track ROI on sponsorships and partnerships, and report performance to management
- Collaborate with Marketing and CRM teams to convert warm leads into sponsors and partners
- Represent Melorbis in external meetings, pitches, and partner negotiations

Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field
- 3–5 years of experience in business development, sponsorships, event management, or partnerships
- Proven track record of securing sponsorships or closing business deals
- Strong understanding of event budgeting, financial tracking, and cost management
- Experience in venue sourcing and event logistics coordination
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders — sponsors, vendors, venues — simultaneously
- Proficiency in MS Office/Excel for financial tracking and reporting
