About the Role

As a Business Development Intern , you will work with the business development and client servicing teams and gain practical exposure to the process of identifying opportunities, engaging prospective clients and developing current business for a communications consultancy. Your responsibilities will include:

- Identifying prospective clients and new business opportunities.
- Conducting research on companies, industries, markets and decision-makers.
- Building and maintaining a structured business development database.
- Supporting lead generation and prospecting activities.
- Initiating professional communication with prospective clients through calls, emails and meetings.
- Understanding client requirements and identifying relevant PR,



branding and marketing solutions.
- Supporting the preparation of proposals, credentials, presentations and pitch documents.
- Coordinating with internal PR, content, creative and digital teams during the proposal and pitching process.
- Maintaining systematic follow-ups with prospective clients.
- Supporting business meetings, networking activities, events and other new-business initiatives.
- Tracking opportunities and maintaining regular updates on the business development pipeline.

Preferred Educational Background

- MBA – Marketing / Business Development
- Mass Communication / Journalism / Strategic Communication
- Marketing, Communications or other relevant disciplines
