About the role

We are looking for a confident, proactive communicator to represent piCake, present our offerings to colleges and universities, and help develop institutional partnerships.

You will connect with decision-makers, understand their institution’s needs, explain how piCake can support their goals, and follow up to move conversations towards partnerships. The role includes outreach, presentations, institutional meetings and campus visits.

Key responsibilities

- Research prospective colleges and universities and identify relevant decision-makers.
- Initiate conversations through phone calls, emails, LinkedIn and institutional visits.
- Arrange meetings with principals, directors, deans, department heads and placement teams.
- Present piCake’s offerings clearly and tailor each discussion to the institution’s priorities.
- Work with the piCake team to prepare presentations, proposals and follow-up communications.




- Maintain consistent follow-ups and coordinate the next steps for potential partnerships.
- Keep accurate records of contacts, meetings, proposals and progress.
- Work towards agreed outreach, meeting and partnership targets.
- Share feedback from institutions to improve our messaging and offerings.

Skills and qualifications

- Strong verbal communication, presentation and professional email-writing skills.
- Confidence speaking with senior academic and administrative leaders.
- Ability to listen, understand requirements and explain ideas clearly.
- Good organisation and consistent follow-up habits.
- Basic familiarity with presentation software and spreadsheets.
- Willingness to attend institutional meetings and travel for campus visits as required.
- Interest in education, industry engagement and business development.

Experience in sales, business development, education or institutional partnerships is an advantage. Freshers with solid communication and presentation skills are welcome to apply.
