: Business Development Executive

About the Role

We are looking for a Business Development Executive with 1-2 years of experience in B2B sales, lead generation, and digital outreach, preferably in the technology or sustainability space. The role involves prospect research, outreach, lead qualification, follow-ups, and supporting the overall business development process in collaboration with the sales and marketing teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Generate and research B2B leads using tools such as Clay and other AI-based platforms.
- Build and maintain prospect databases using Zoho CRM or similar CRM tools.
- Execute LinkedIn and email outreach, including connection requests, followups, and lead nurturing.
- Research target companies, decision-makers, markets, and business opportunities.
- Qualify leads and understand prospect requirements.
- Track leads, interactions, follow-ups, and pipeline activities in CRM and trackers.
- Identify potential business opportunities, partnerships, and new market segments.
- Prepare basic PPT presentations, Excel reports,



and business development materials.
- Coordinate with the marketing team on outreach campaigns and messaging.
- Participate in relevant industry events, conferences, and networking activities.

Requirements

- 1-2 years of experience in business development, lead generation, sales, or a related B2B role.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Valuable understanding of B2B prospecting, outreach, lead qualification, and sales processes.
- Hands-on experience with LinkedIn and CRM tools such as Zoho CRM or HubSpot.
- Familiarity with prospecting tools such as Clay, Apollo, or LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong research, follow-up, organisational, and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with sales and marketing teams.
- Experience in technology, IT services, SaaS, sustainability, ESG, or consulting will be an advantage.

Education

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field.
