Purpose:

Business Analyst will work as a bridge between business and technology teams for implementing insurance products into core systems. The role involves detailed requirements gathering, documentation, system analysis, and ensuring successful implementation of insurance products. The analyst will support the full lifecycle of product rollout and work closely with business users, development teams, and QA to ensure high-quality delivery.

Education:

- Bachelors degree in engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
- Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) preferred.

Experience Range:

- 4-6 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the insurance domain, preferably life insurance.
- Experience in insurance product configuration or system migration projects is an advantage.

Professional Experience / Skills:
- Strong understanding of insurance product structures and business workflows.
- Experience in writing BRDs, FRDs, and Use Cases.
- Ability to elicit, analyse, and document business and system requirements.
- Exposure to insurance core systems (Life Asia, Ingenium, Premia, or similar).
- Familiarity with SQL queries and testing processes.




- Valuable understanding of API integration and system interfacing.
- Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management.
- Strong analytical and documentation skills.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business teams to understand product requirements and operational workflows.
- Document functional and non-functional requirements.
- Prepare BRDs, SRS documents, and support test case development.
- Act as liaison between business and technical teams.
- Ensure system designs align with business expectations.
- Support UAT and resolve issues post-go live.
- Maintain traceability matrices and change logs.
- Assist in training and documentation for end-users.
