nAbout the role

nWe're hiring backend engineers to design, build, and own services at the heart of our platform. This is a role for engineers who want hard problems: scale, concurrency, correctness under failure, and not a ticket queue. You'll own systems end to end: design, implementation, tests, rollout, and what happens at 2am when something breaks.

nWhat you'll do

n

- Design and build backend services in Go and Python that run in production at scale.
n
- Own service boundaries and API contracts in a distributed microservices architecture.
n
- Model data and tune performance in PostgreSQL; schema design, indexing, transactions, and safe migrations on live tables
n
- Solve open-ended problems where the right answer isn't written down yet: scope it, write the design, ship it, measure it
n
- Make systems observable, reliable, and cost-efficient; metrics, tracing, SLOs, incident response
n




- Review code and raise the engineering bar for the people around you

nWhat we're looking for

n

n
- 5+ years of professional backend engineering experience
n
- Strong hands-on Go and Python
n
- Proven experience building and operating large-scale microservices; service decomposition, versioned contracts, async messaging, retries, idempotency, and debugging across service hops
n
- Solid PostgreSQL depth: query tuning, indexing strategy, isolation levels, migrations without downtime
n
- A track record of solving complex, real-world problems and owning them through to production

- Mobile development experience (iOS / Android); a robust plus
n
- gRPC / protobuf, event-driven and streaming systems
n
- Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, or GCP
n
- CI/CD and observability tooling (OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana)
n
- Multi-tenant SaaS experience
