Consulting firm based out of Florida is Looking for:**** Role Overview We are looking for an Automation QA Engineer with 3+ years of hands-on QA automation in Java to support a rapid-paced Agile engineering team.This is not a manual-testing-plus-some-automation role — the primary skill must be building and writing automated tests in Java. The ideal candidate combines strong Java-based test automation with genuine, hands-on Salesforce experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based automated test scripts for APIs and UI workflows
- Perform integration testing across systems, including reading and validating API contracts, testing error/failure scenarios, and cross-system data flow
- Test and validate Salesforce workflows and configurations as part of the application under test
- Perform functional, regression, integration, API, and end-to-end testing
- Work closely with developers, product owners, and the engineering manager to understand requirements and acceptance criteria
- Identify, document, track, and retest defects through resolution
- Participate in Agile ceremonies — sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives
- Use Git for source control and standard version-control collaboration
- Complete a live Java coding assessment as part of the interview process

Mandatory Requirements
- 3+ years of clear,



demonstrated QA automation experience specifically in Java not general QA experience with automation added on later
- Strong hands-on Java-based test automation (writing and maintaining automated test suites, not just executing pre-built scripts)
- Experience with Selenium and/or Playwright for UI automation
- Strong understanding of API/integration testing: reading API contracts, request/response validation, authentication, and testing integration failure scenarios (via tools like Postman)
- Hands-on Salesforce experience genuine platform knowledge, not just "consumed data from Salesforce." Should be comfortable discussing:
- Standard vs. custom objects
- Object relationships (master-detail, lookup)
- Security model (profiles, permission sets, permission set groups)
- Basic configuration (adding fields, layouts)
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-throughput Agile environment

Preferred Skills

- Experience with MuleSoft and/or Apigee integration platforms
- Experience with Spock and Groovy
- Experience with Selenide or similar UI automation tools
- Hospitality or loyalty-program domain experience (PMS systems, integrations like HAPI, loyalty platforms — any industry with similar systems is a plus)
- Exposure to AI-assisted tools such as GitHub Copilot.
