About the role:

Smart Joules is seeking a dynamic and driven Automation Project Engineer to join our mission of revolutionizing energy efficiency.



We're looking for a problem-solver with hands-on expertise in automation systems, particularly in deploying and optimizing cutting-edge technologies like DeJoule. If you are passionate about innovation, thrive in fast-paced environments, and are eager to lead projects that make a tangible impact on energy consumption, this is the opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities of the role will include:

- Site Survey and answering queries from Design Team for pre-design stage.
- Liaise with Design team to finalize locations placements of panels at sites.
- Estimate cable length, type and quality requirements on site.
- Seek and follow up on client approvals on design submission as required.
- Seek quotes to install hardware and labour.
- Supervise the installation as per the design.
- Check and sign off installation as per design at acceptable quality.
- Supervise and lead point to point testing/ cold testing with installation labour.
- Coordinate with A&A; team for functional testing and document the test results.
- Create Commissioning report and handover to Design team for installation qualification.
- Mark-up design submission for As-Built drawings.
- O&M; Training to Ops team and customer.
- Project close out with handover sign offs [Mandatory for Greenfields].
- Resolve technical queries related to interfaces, buyout equipment, following escalation

matrix.
- Assist Regional Manager in collating and raising PRs.
- Assist Regional Project Manager in putting together and refining execution plans.
- Share knowledge with Juniors about DeJoule platform and ecosystem.




- Co-own individual project schedule and costs with Regional Leads.

The Ideal candidate

Specific requirements include:

- B.Tech in Instrumentation / Electronics / Telecommunication.
- 3-6 years’ experience in related field, excellent communication skills.
- Sound domain knowledge and agility to act fast and make quick decisions.
- Excellent analytical thinking and technical & functional skills.
- Solution oriented mindset, aggression to think big, move fast and make things happen.

Experience Range: 3 - 6 years

Educational Qualifications

-B.Tech/B.E in Instrumentation , -B.Tech/B.E in Electronics/Telecommnunication , -B.Tech/B.E in Mechanical

Skills Required
