Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled HVAC AutoCAD Draftsman/Draftswoman to prepare detailed HVAC and MEP drawings for commercial, industrial, and healthcare projects. The candidate will be responsible for preparing HVAC layouts, ducting drawings, piping layouts, equipment layouts, sections, details, and as-built drawings in coordination with the project and site teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed HVAC AutoCAD drawings based on engineering designs, site measurements, and project requirements.
- Prepare HVAC ducting layouts, including supply air, return air, fresh air, exhaust and ventilation systems.
- Prepare AHU, FCU, FAHU, DX unit and ventilation fan layouts.
- Prepare HVAC duct routing, riser diagrams, sections and installation details.
- Prepare chilled water / refrigerant piping layouts where applicable.
- Prepare equipment room and plant room layouts.
- Prepare HVAC shop drawings and coordinated MEP drawings.
- Prepare ceiling coordination drawings showing diffusers, grilles, duct routes and other HVAC services.
- Prepare sleeve, opening and builder-work drawings as required.
- Prepare as-built drawings based on actual site installation.
- Update drawings according to engineer/client comments and revisions.
- Coordinate HVAC drawings with electrical, plumbing, fire-fighting, civil and architectural drawings.
- Take site measurements and incorporate actual site conditions into drawings.
- Maintain proper drawing numbering, revision control and drawing registers.
- Coordinate with HVAC engineers, site engineers, consultants and project managers.
- Ensure drawings comply with project specifications and applicable standards.

Required Skills




- Good working knowledge of AutoCAD 2D.
- Knowledge of HVAC ducting design and installation.
- Ability to read and understand HVAC, architectural and MEP drawings.
- Knowledge of duct sizes, duct routing, diffusers, grilles, dampers and HVAC equipment.
- Basic understanding of CFM, air changes (ACH), ESP and duct sizing.
- Knowledge of HVAC piping and equipment layouts will be an advantage.
- Good knowledge of MS Office.
- Ability to prepare accurate shop drawings and as-built drawings.
- Good coordination and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.

Healthcare / Hospital Project Experience – Preferred Experience in hospital HVAC projects will be an added advantage, particularly:
- Operation Theatre (OT)
- ICU
- Cathlab
- LINAC
- Isolation rooms
- CSSD
- Diagnostic areas
- HEPA filtration systems
- AHU and DX systems
- Positive/negative pressure rooms
- Medical gas and MEP coordination

Educational Qualification ITI / Diploma / Certificate course in Drafting, Mechanical Engineering, HVAC or MEP is preferred.

Experience

1–5 years of relevant HVAC AutoCAD drafting experience.

Freshers with valuable AutoCAD knowledge and HVAC understanding may also be considered.

Salary Salary: 30,000.00 TO 40,000.00 per month, depending on experience and skill level.
