1. Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented AutoCAD Design Engineer to prepare technical drawings, layouts, schematics, and documentation for ELV, IT infrastructure, electrical, and related projects. The candidate will work closely with the Pre-Sales, Project Execution, Purchase, and Sales teams to convert project requirements into accurate and practical engineering drawings.

1. Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed 2D AutoCAD drawings, layouts, schematics, and technical drawings based on project requirements.
- Prepare drawings for ELV and IT infrastructure systems, including:
- CCTV
- Fire Alarm System (FAS)
- Structured Cabling & Networking
- Access Control
- Public Address System
- Video Conferencing
- Data & Voice Systems
- Other ELV systems as required
- Prepare electrical layouts, cable routing, equipment layouts, and related drawings wherever required.
- Develop floor plans, equipment layouts, rack layouts, cable pathways, termination details, and installation drawings.
- Prepare as-built drawings based on actual site installations.
- Review architectural drawings and identify design requirements, constraints, and coordination requirements.
- Incorporate revisions and modifications based on client, consultant, and project-team requirements.
- Coordinate with the Pre-Sales and Project Execution teams to ensure drawings are technically accurate and practical for execution.
- Conduct site visits when required to collect measurements and understand existing site conditions.
- Ensure proper identification, numbering, dimensions, legends, symbols,



and annotations in drawings.
- Prepare drawing revisions and maintain proper drawing version control and documentation.
- Assist the Pre-Sales team with drawings required for quotations, tenders, BOQs, and technical submissions.
- Review drawings before submission to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
- Coordinate with project engineers, supervisors, technicians, and other stakeholders during execution.
- Maintain a systematic record of approved, revised, and as-built drawings.
- Ensure drawings are prepared according to company standards, project specifications, and applicable requirements.
- Support the team in resolving drawing-related technical issues during project execution.

1. Required Skills & Qualifications

- Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Civil, Electrical, Electronics, or related engineering discipline.
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in AutoCAD drafting/design, preferably in ELV, electrical, MEP, IT infrastructure, or similar projects.
- Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD 2D.
- Knowledge of preparing technical layouts, schematics, and engineering drawings.
- Good understanding of ELV systems, electrical layouts, networking, and site installations will be an advantage.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, electrical, and engineering drawings.
- Good knowledge of drawing standards, dimensions, symbols, layers, blocks, and annotation.
- Knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and Word.




- Ability to understand project requirements and convert them into accurate drawings.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and coordination skills.

1. Preferred Skills

- Experience in ELV / MEP / Electrical / IT Infrastructure projects.
- Knowledge of CCTV, Fire Alarm, Access Control, Networking, Structured Cabling, and other ELV systems.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD blocks, templates, layers, XREFs, and drawing standards.
- Knowledge of preparing BOQ-related drawings and technical submissions.
- Familiarity with Revit / SketchUp / other design software will be an added advantage.
- Experience in preparing as-built drawings.
- Willingness to travel to project sites when required.
