Role Description The Audit Department Deputy Manager is responsible for supporting and overseeing internal audit activities to ensure compliance, operational efficiency, and robust internal controls. This full-time, on-site role based in Coimbatore involves planning and executing audit assignments, reviewing financial and operational processes, and identifying risks and control gaps.

The Deputy

Manager will prepare detailed audit reports, recommend corrective actions, and follow up on implementation of audit findings. The role includes coordinating with cross-functional teams, supporting statutory and internal audit requirements,



and contributing to the development of audit methodologies and best practices.

Manager will also mentor junior audit staff, maintain documentation, and assist in continuous improvement initiatives aligned with organizational goals.

Qualifications

- Strong internal audit and risk management skills, including audit planning, execution, documentation, and reporting.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial analysis, and internal control frameworks.
- Experience with compliance, process review, and policy implementation in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Proficiency in using audit and productivity tools, spreadsheets, and enterprise systems (ERP) for data analysis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings to senior stakeholders clearly and objectively.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple audits, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines with attention to detail.
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional certifications such as CIA, CA, or CMA are an advantage.
- Relevant experience in internal audit or assurance, preferably in manufacturing, heavy equipment, or related sectors.
- Solid ethical standards, professional integrity, and a continuous improvement mindset.
