Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to inspect CNC-machined components and ensure that finished parts meet engineering drawings, dimensional tolerances, and quality standards. The role involves first-piece inspection, dimensional verification, and visual inspection using precision measuring instruments and inspection equipment.

Key Responsibilities

- Setup Verification: Evaluate the initial machined part before the production run begins to verify that CNC programming, fixturing, tooling, and machine setup are correctly configured and capable of producing parts as per specifications.

- Dimensional & Tolerance Inspection: Inspect machined components using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, vernier/digital calipers, height gauges, bore gauges, and Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to ensure compliance with engineering drawings and specified tolerances.

- Drawing & Specification Review: Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T; symbols, dimensional requirements, and applicable quality specifications to determine inspection requirements.

- First-Piece / In-Process Inspection: Perform first-off and in-process inspections to identify dimensional deviations at an early stage and prevent non-conforming parts from progressing through production.

- Visual Inspection: Conduct detailed visual inspections to identify micro-scratches, burrs, dents, surface imperfections, tool marks, cracks, and other visible defects.





- Optical Inspection: Use optical comparators and other inspection equipment to verify profiles, contours, radii, angles, and other critical features where required.

- Inspection Documentation: Record inspection results accurately and maintain inspection reports, first-piece inspection records, and non-conformance documentation.

- Non-Conformance Identification: Identify, segregate, and report non-conforming parts. Coordinate with production and engineering teams to support corrective actions.

- Quality Compliance: Ensure inspection activities are performed in accordance with established quality procedures, work instructions, and customer requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Experience in quality inspection of CNC-machined components.

- Experience 1 to 4 years

- Good knowledge of engineering drawings and GD&T;.

- Hands-on experience with micrometers, calipers, height gauges, bore gauges, and other precision measuring instruments.

- Knowledge of CMM inspection and optical comparator operation.

- Ability to identify machining defects, surface imperfections, burrs, and dimensional deviations.

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and inspection specifications.

- Valuable documentation and reporting skills.

Pay: ₹250,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year
