About the Role:-

We are looking for an experienced Associate Manager / Section Head - Record to Report (R2R) to manage the process architecture, governance, and metrics across all Record to Report operations at our Haridwar Plant. This position is responsible for general ledger accounting, fixed assets, inter-company accounts, MIS reporting, financial closes, and internal controls while driving process automation and cost optimization.

Key Responsibilities

- Financial Accounting & Closing: Oversee recording, accounting, classification, presentation, and analysis for R2R; ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual closing of books.
- Budgeting & Planning: Coordinate with cross-functional teams to consolidate and evaluate annual business plans in line with zero-based budgeting, while monitoring variance between actuals and budgets.
- Strategic Investment & Analytics: Analyze strategic investment decisions alongside Project Engineering, perform sensitivity analysis on capital proposals, and deliver comprehensive analytics on organizational performance.
- MIS & Management Reporting: Prepare periodic MIS covering manpower productivity, production-dispatch volumes,



and variance analysis to aid decision-making.
- Audit & Internal Controls: Coordinate with internal and external auditors for timely audit closures, maintain trial balance hygiene, and establish dynamic internal controls.
- Compliance Management: Maintain zero tolerance for legal/regulatory non-compliance, adhering to timelines for Income Tax, GST, MSME, and internal Delegation of Authority policies.
- EBITDA Optimization: Drive cost curtailment projects, contractual negotiations, and competitive benchmarking to maximize profit margins.
- Digitization & Automation: Identify repetitive manual tasks and introduce tech tools/digitization models aimed at moving toward zero-touch accounting.
- Team Development: Lead, mentor, and track performance for a team of 2–4 direct reports.

Qualifications & Experience:-

- Education: Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent skilled qualification.
- Experience: 3 to 5 years of relevant Record to Report (R2R) experience in the manufacturing industry.
- Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of accounting policies/procedures, Companies Act, Direct & Indirect Taxation, SAP, and MS Office.
- Behavioral Competencies: Proactive, self-motivated, strong problem-solving and crisis management capabilities, and demonstrated team management skills.
