Role Description

We are looking for an Associate Android Software Engineer for a full-time, in office opportunity based in Morena, Madhya Pradesh, India.

The role is designed for fresh graduates and early-career technology professionals interested in Android development, mobile software engineering, Kotlin, Java, Android SDK, mobile UI development, REST API integration, databases, cloud technologies, and modern application-development practices.

The Associate Android Software Engineer will work closely with software, IT, backend, data, analytics, operations, finance, production, supply chain, sales, and other business teams to develop, test, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve Android applications, mobile interfaces, API integrations, internal platforms, and digital solutions.

The role may involve working with Kotlin, Java, Android Studio, Android SDK, Jetpack Compose, XML, REST APIs, local databases, Firebase, architecture patterns, testing tools, cloud services, and modern Android-development technologies depending on project and business requirements.

Qualifications

- B.E. / B.Tech / B.Sc. / BCA / MCA / M.Sc. / M.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Applications, Electronics, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related discipline.
- Fresh graduates and candidates with up to 2 years of relevant experience are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Final-year students who are completing their degree and are available for full-time employment may also apply.
- Candidates with 0–2 years of experience in Android development, mobile application development, software engineering, software development, Java development, Kotlin development, application development, or related technology roles can apply.
- Candidates currently working as Associate Android Software Engineer, Junior Android Software Engineer, Android Software Engineer, Android Engineer, Android Developer, Mobile Software Engineer, Mobile Developer, Kotlin Developer,



Java Developer, Application Developer, Graduate Software Engineer, Junior Software Engineer, or Associate Software Engineer are encouraged to apply.
- Candidates from IT services, SaaS, product companies, technology, consulting, e-commerce, fintech, telecom, analytics, manufacturing, logistics, FMCG, or other industries are welcome.
- Basic to good knowledge of Kotlin, Java, or both for Android application development.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, exception handling, debugging, and software-development fundamentals.
- Familiarity with Android Studio, Android SDK, Gradle, emulators, device debugging, and Android-development workflows will be beneficial.
- Understanding of Android components such as Activities, Fragments, Services, Broadcast Receivers, Intents, and the Android application lifecycle.
- Familiarity with Jetpack Compose, XML layouts, Material Design, or similar Android UI-development approaches will be beneficial.
- Exposure to Android Jetpack components such as ViewModel, LiveData, Room, Navigation, WorkManager, DataStore, or similar libraries will be advantageous.
- Basic understanding of REST APIs, JSON, HTTP/HTTPS, web services, authentication, authorization, and mobile-backend integration.
- Familiarity with Retrofit, OkHttp, Ktor, Volley, or similar networking libraries will be beneficial.
- Exposure to Room, SQLite, Firebase Firestore, Realm, DataStore, or similar local and cloud data-storage technologies will be advantageous.
- Understanding of application architecture patterns such as MVVM, MVC, MVP, Clean Architecture, repository patterns, or modular application design will be beneficial.
- Exposure to Kotlin Coroutines, Flow, RxJava, asynchronous programming, background processing, or concurrency will be considered an advantage.
- Familiarity with Git, GitHub, version control, branching, pull requests, debugging, and collaborative software-development workflows.
- Exposure to JUnit, Espresso, Mockito, UI testing, unit testing, integration testing, or automated Android-testing tools will be beneficial but is not mandatory.
- Exposure to Firebase Authentication, Firebase Cloud Messaging, Crashlytics, Analytics, Firestore,



Remote Config, or similar mobile services will be advantageous.
- Familiarity with Google Play Console, application signing, APK/AAB generation, build variants, release management, or Play Store publishing will be beneficial but is not mandatory.
- Exposure to AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, Firebase, CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Fastlane, or similar cloud and deployment technologies will be considered an additional advantage.
- Understanding of Android performance optimization, memory management, battery usage, networking efficiency, caching, offline support, startup performance, and application responsiveness will be advantageous.
- Familiarity with OAuth, JWT, secure storage, encryption, permissions, biometric authentication, API security, and mobile application-security concepts will be beneficial.
- Exposure to push notifications, deep linking, maps, location services, camera integration, sensors, background tasks, or other Android platform capabilities will be considered an additional advantage.
- Exposure to Flutter, React Native, iOS development, Swift, or other cross-platform and mobile-development technologies will be beneficial but is not mandatory.
- Exposure to analytics, AI/ML, ERP, CRM, dashboards, automation, internal business applications, or enterprise mobile applications will be considered an additional advantage.
- Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, Jira, SDLC, technical documentation, requirements gathering, sprint planning, or issue tracking will be advantageous but is not mandatory.
- Good analytical, logical, debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Valuable communication, documentation, collaboration, and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to understand business and user requirements and contribute to practical, responsive, secure, maintainable, and user-friendly Android applications.
- Willingness to work in an on-site environment.
- Internship, academic project, Android project, Kotlin project, Java project, mobile application project, API-integration project, Firebase project, GitHub project, hackathon, freelance assignment, startup project, or open-source contribution will be considered but is not mandatory.
- Candidates without previous full-time Android-development experience can apply.
- Strong willingness to learn new Android frameworks, mobile technologies, APIs, cloud services, testing tools, and up-to-date software-engineering practices.
