Supplier Identification &

- Development:

•

Identify, evaluate, and onboard recent suppliers for electronic components (PCBs, sensors, microcontrollers, communication modules, batteries, etc.)

•

Build and maintain strategic relationships with global suppliers and manufacturers.

•

Maintain an approved vendor list (AVL) and a qualified alternate vendor list (AQL).

•

Guide and mentor junior sourcing executives in supplier evaluation and onboarding processes 2

Cost &

- Quality Management:

•

Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms to achieve cost savings while ensuring quality and reliability

•

Drive cost-reduction and value-engineering initiatives across the electronics category.

•

Conduct supplier audits and performance evaluations.

Cross-Functional Coordination:

•

Work closely with design and engineering teams to align sourcing strategies with product requirements.

•

Provide input on component selection, availability, and lifecycle management.

Risk &

- Compliance Management:

•

Monitor supply chain risks, including obsolescence, lead times, and geopolitical factors

•

Ensure compliance with industry standards, certifications, and regulatory requirements

•

Maintain up-to-date supplier compliance documentation including NDAs, quality agreements, and regulatory declarations

Procurement Operations &

- Process Optimization:

•

Manage end-to-end procurement cycle from RFQ to PO issuance, delivery tracking,



GRN, and invoice processing

•

Maintain accurate inventory data in ERP systems (Tally)

•

Implement best practices in sourcing, procurement, and inventory management.

•

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs

Import/Export &

- Logistics Coordination:

•

Manage import processes for components sourced internationally including HS code classification, customs clearance, IGST, and import duties.

•

Coordinate with freight forwarders and clearing agents to ensure timely inbound logistics.

•

Track shipments and provide visibility to operations and production planning teams.

SKILLS REQUIRED 1

- Deep understanding of electronic components: passive components, semiconductors, RF modules, sensors, power electronics, and electromechanical assemblies.

- Ability to read and interpret schematics, PCB layouts, and technical datasheets.

- Familiarity with Tally /ERP systems and supply chain management tools.

- Familiarity with BOM management tools and PLM platforms.

- Working knowledge of import/export regulations, Incoterms, and customs procedures

- Exceptional negotiation, persuasion, and vendor relationship management skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities/projects.

- Experience in Defence Company with above skillset will be an added advantage
