Job Summary:

Responsible for ensuring maximum uptime, reliability, and performance of printing presses and associated equipment through effective preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Ensure maximum availability of printing presses by minimizing breakdowns and machine downtime.
- Plan and execute preventive and predictive maintenance schedules.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automation-related issues.
- Support Production in maintaining print quality, registration accuracy, and consistent machine performance.
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for recurring breakdowns and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor maintenance KPIs such as machine uptime, MTBF, MTTR, and breakdown hours.
- Manage critical spare parts, inventory levels, and maintenance-related procurement.
- Control maintenance costs and support annual engineering budget planning.
- Maintain detailed records of breakdowns, preventive maintenance, repairs, spares, and equipment history.
- Ensure machine safety guards, emergency stops, interlocks, LOTO,



and other HSE requirements are maintained.
- Lead, train, and supervise maintenance technicians and ensure adherence to safety and maintenance practices.
- Coordinate with OEMs, contractors, and service providers for technical support and equipment maintenance.
- Identify and implement improvements to enhance equipment reliability, productivity, and efficiency.

Qualification & Experience:

- Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or related Engineering discipline.
- Relevant experience in offset printing, packaging, or converting industry.
- Experience in Offset Printing maintenance will be preferred.
- Strong knowledge of preventive/breakdown maintenance, RCA, PLC/VFD, electrical and mechanical systems.
- Valuable knowledge of MS Office and maintenance documentation.
