Role Description The Assistant General Manager is a full-time, in office role based in the Pune Division, supporting overall business operations and project delivery. This role oversees day-to-day coordination of interior projects, including planning, resource allocation, vendor management, and monitoring timelines and budgets.

The Assistant General

Manager collaborates closely with design, execution, and procurement teams to ensure smooth handover of residential and commercial projects and high levels of client satisfaction.

Responsibilities also include supervising staff, maintaining quality standards, implementing process improvements, and supporting business development activities such as client meetings and presentations.



The role requires regular reporting to senior management on project status, operational performance, and key business metrics.

Qualifications

- Operational and project management skills, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating multiple residential and commercial interior projects.
- Team leadership and people management skills, with experience supervising cross-functional teams and resolving day-to-day operational issues.
- Client relationship and communication skills, with the ability to manage expectations, handle feedback, and conduct professional presentations.
- Vendor and supply chain management skills, including negotiating with suppliers, monitoring material quality, and controlling costs.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with comfort using reports and data to improve processes and project outcomes.
- Knowledge of interior design or construction industry practices, quality standards, and basic understanding of design-to-execution workflows.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations, Civil/Interior Engineering, or a related field; a master’s degree or relevant certification is an advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with project management tools; exposure to design or CAD software is a plus.
- Ability to work on-site in the Pune Division, with flexibility to visit project locations and meet clients as required.
