An Assistant Embroidery Designer helps create and develop embroidery patterns, supports sample making, and works with craftspeople to turn design ideas into finished garments.

Key Responsibilities

- Design & Illustration: Draw original embroidery motifs, create digital sketches, and prepare technical flat drawings or CADs.
- Sampling & Trials: Make sample swatches, test thread and fabric combinations, and help refine colors and textures.
- Craft Coordination: Work with karigars (artisans) and embroidery masters to explain designs and guide sample execution.
- Technical Documentation: Maintain design sheets, motif charts, and embroidery tech packs.
- Production Support: Check quality standards, assist with cost estimates, and help hand over approved designs for final production.
