Position Overview

3S is looking for an experienced Architect to join our growing team in our Ahmedabad or Jaipur office. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of qualified experience, with demonstrated experience working on U.S.-based commercial building projects.

The candidate should have a strong understanding of architectural design and construction documentation practices in the United States and working knowledge of applicable U.S. building codes, accessibility requirements, and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and coordinate architectural drawings and construction documents for U.S. commercial projects.
- Develop floor plans, reflected ceiling plans, elevations, sections, details, schedules, and other architectural documentation.
- Review architectural drawings for compliance with applicable U.S. codes and project requirements.
- Coordinate architectural designs with structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection disciplines.
- Review client and consultant drawings and identify design or coordination issues.
- Incorporate markups, comments, and design revisions accurately and efficiently.
- Assist with code analysis, life-safety plans, accessibility reviews, and construction documentation.
- Coordinate with the U.S.-based project team and participate in project meetings as required.
- Maintain drawing quality and follow established company and client CAD/BIM standards.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture (B.Arch) or equivalent recognized architectural qualification.
- Minimum 4 years of architectural experience.
- Experience working on U.S.



commercial building projects is strongly preferred.
- Working knowledge of U.S. building codes and standards, including IBC, ADA/accessibility requirements, NFPA standards, and applicable state/local codes.
- Strong experience preparing U.S.-style construction documents.
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
- Good understanding of architectural detailing and multidisciplinary coordination.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently while coordinating effectively with project teams in India and the United States.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet project deadlines.

Preferred Experience Experience with one or more of the following project types would be beneficial:

Commercial offices • Retail • Industrial facilities • Healthcare • Educational facilities • Restaurants • Tenant improvements • Mixed-use projects

Experience coordinating architectural drawings with MEP and structural engineering disciplines will be an added advantage.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: 75,000 per month In addition to the monthly salary, the position includes standard company benefits, including applicable bonus/incentive programs, PF, insurance benefits, paid holidays, and other benefits in accordance with company policies.

This is a full-time, office-based position.
