Responsibilities

- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the general department, ensuring adherence to established protocols and standards.

- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to deliver patient-centered care and achieve optimal patient outcomes.

- Assist in emergency situations by providing prompt and effective support, including basic life support and coordination with emergency response teams.

- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.

- Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment plans, and post-discharge care to promote understanding and compliance.

- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate medical staff.

- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.

- Ensure a clean and protected environment by following infection control practices and hospital policies.

- Support and mentor junior nursing staff and students, fostering a collaborative and educational atmosphere.
