Analyst Global Credit Administration (GCA) | 3+ Years | Chennai

We are looking for an Analyst – Global Credit Administration (GCA) to support Credit Underwriting and Credit Administration activities across global banking operations. This role offers an opportunity to work with large corporate clients, global stakeholders and international banking operations, while gaining exposure to credit underwriting, financial analysis, covenant monitoring and wholesale banking products.

The organisation works with global teams and stakeholders to support banking operations, credit processes and financial services activities across multiple regions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Support Credit Underwriting & Credit Administration activities for global banking operations.
2. Arrive at internal credit ratings for customers.
3. Prepare detailed financial analysis, credit write-ups and industry research.
4. Perform client setup and credit limit setup across relevant systems.
5. Prepare and monitor covenant control sheets.
6. Monitor facility maturity dates, credit ratings, collateral and other borrower-related information.
7. Update loan/credit systems and circulate relevant MIS reports to stakeholders.
8. Identify opportunities for process improvement and re-engineering.
9. Support migration of new credit underwriting/administration projects across regions.
10. Work closely with senior team members and global stakeholders.
11.



Ensure all activities are completed within defined SLA, quality and compliance standards.

Requirements

1. 3–5 years of relevant experience in Credit Underwriting / Credit Administration.
2. Experience with large corporate / wholesale banking clients is preferred.
3. Background in a global financial institution, bank or credit rating agency will be preferred.
4. Strong experience in financial analysis and credit assessment.
5. Good understanding of Wholesale Banking products, including: i) Working Capital ii) Term Loans iii) Project Finance
6. Strong understanding of credit ratings, covenants and credit documentation.
7. Experience working with global stakeholders / APAC / EMEA / US markets will be an advantage.
8. MBA – Finance/Banking, CA, CMA or equivalent qualification preferred.
