Key Responsibilities

Inspection & Measurement

- Inspection and measurement of sheet metal, fabrication, machined, bought-out, and assembly components.
- Preparation and review of measurement protocols and inspection reports.
- Verification of customer-specific quality requirements.

Supplier Quality Management

- Handling supplier quality issues and claims.
- Follow-up and verification of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Support supplier qualification, evaluation, and development activities.
- Participate in supplier audits and ensure closure of audit findings.

Quality Planning & Documentation

- Preparation and review of Quality Assurance Plans (QAP).
- Review of PPAP, ISIR, and related quality documentation.
- Maintenance of inspection records and quality documentation.

Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement

- Conduct Root Cause Analysis using 5Why, Fishbone, 8D, etc.
- Drive supplier quality improvement initiatives.
- Support reduction of supplier PPM and repeat quality issues.

Cross-Functional Coordination

- Work closely with Engineering, SCM, Manufacturing, Project Management, and Suppliers for quality-related topics.

Coordinate supplier visits and quality improvement activities

- B.E./B.Tech. Mechanical Engineering with 6-10 years of experience
