Role Description The AI & Tech Mentor is a full-time, on-site role based in Agartala, responsible for guiding learners through practical, project-based technology programs. Day-to-day activities include mentoring learners on AI, programming, and related tech concepts, reviewing code, providing constructive feedback, and helping troubleshoot bugs and implementation challenges. The mentor will design and facilitate hands-on learning sessions, support learners in building real-world projects and portfolios, and ensure that course content aligns with current industry practices.





Additional responsibilities include collaborating with the curriculum team to improve program structure, monitoring learner progress, and fostering a supportive, inclusive learning setting focused on learning by doing.

Qualifications

- Strong technical foundation in AI, machine learning, and data science, including experience with relevant tools, frameworks, and programming languages (e.g., Python, ML libraries).
- Solid software development skills, including writing clean code, debugging, version control (e.g., Git/GitHub), and building real-world projects.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly, design practical learning activities, and mentor learners with varying levels of prior experience.
- Experience in education, training, or mentoring roles, preferably in tech or STEM fields, with a learner-centric and inclusive approach.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to give constructive feedback and support continuous learner progress.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Awareness of current industry trends in AI and technology, and enthusiasm for hands-on, project-based learning.
