Job Summary The Administrative Officer is responsible for overseeing daily administrative operations, ensuring efficient office management, compliance with policies, and smooth coordination between departments. The role supports management by handling documentation, staff coordination, and operational control.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day administrative activities of the organization
- Implement and monitor administrative policies and procedures
- Maintain official records, files, and documentation
- Coordinate with HR on recruitment, attendance, leave, and staff welfare
- Supervise support staff (office assistants, drivers, housekeeping, security, etc.)
- Handle correspondence, notices, circulars, and office orders
- Oversee procurement of office supplies and inventory control
- Liaise with government departments, vendors, and external agencies
- Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements
- Assist management in planning, budgeting, and reporting
- Organize meetings, prepare minutes, and follow up on action items
- Ensure proper maintenance of office facilities and assets
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Management, or a related field
- Proven experience in an administrative or office management role
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities
- Knowledge of office procedures, documentation, and record management
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Email)
- Ability to work independently and handle confidential matters
Experience
- 3–10 years of relevant administrative experience (varies by organization)
Job Type: Full time Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per year
