FINANCE & ACCOUNTS MANAGER

Job Summary
Micro Elevators India Ltd. is looking for an experienced Finance & Accounts Manager who can independently handle the complete Accounts & Finance function of the company. This is a hands-on role where the candidate will be responsible for day-to-day accounting, GST, TDS, statutory compliance, vendor payments, customer receivables, banking, cash flow, reconciliations, project accounting, MIS and audit-related work.
The candidate should have 7–8 years of strong relevant experience in Accounts & Finance, preferably at a Senior Accountant/Finance Manager level, and should be capable of managing the complete function independently without an accounts team.
Experience in the Elevator/Vertical Transportation industry will be highly preferred. Candidates from Engineering, Electrical, Manufacturing, Construction, Infrastructure or other project-based industries may also be considered.
Key Responsibilities1. Complete Accounts Management
- Independently handle day-to-day accounting operations of the company.
- Manage sales, purchases, receipts, payments, expenses, journal entries, credit notes, debit notes and ledger postings.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date books of accounts.
- Verify invoices, bills, vouchers and supporting documents before accounting and payment.
- Ensure proper accounting of all business transactions and expenses.
2. Vendor Payments & Payables
- Independently manage all vendor payments and accounts payable.
- Verify vendor invoices with PO, work orders, delivery challans/GRN and approvals.
- Prepare payment schedules and ensure payments are made on time after required approval.
- Maintain vendor outstanding, advances and payment records.
- Regularly reconcile vendor ledgers and resolve discrepancies.
- Coordinate directly with vendors regarding invoices, outstanding payments, deductions and payment status.
3. Customer Receivables & Collections
- Maintain and monitor customer outstanding and receivables.
- Prepare customer-wise and ageing reports.
- Track payment commitments and follow up for overdue payments.
- Coordinate with Sales, Projects and Service departments for pending collections.
- Maintain records of customer advances, retention amounts and pending invoices.
- Regularly report major or long-pending outstanding amounts to the Directors.
4. GST,
TDS & Statutory Compliance
- Independently handle GST compliance, including GST accounting, input/output reconciliation, invoice verification, GST reconciliation and return-related work.
- Independently handle TDS, including calculation, deduction, payment, returns, reconciliation and certificates.
- Handle applicable PF, ESIC, Professional Tax and other statutory compliances.
- Maintain all statutory records and supporting documents.
- Coordinate with CA/tax consultants wherever professional assistance is required and ensure timely completion of statutory requirements.
5. Banking & Cash Flow
- Handle all day-to-day banking activities and transactions.
- Prepare and process NEFT/RTGS/IMPS and other payment transactions after approval.
- Perform regular bank reconciliation.
- Monitor bank balances, upcoming liabilities and expected collections.
- Prepare cash-flow and payment planning reports for the Directors.
- Maintain proper records of all banking transactions.
6. Project & Business Accounting Maintain proper financial records for Micro Elevators' different business activities, including:
- New Elevator Installation
- Modernization (MOD)
- AMC
- Service & Repairs
- Project-related purchases and expenses
Track project-wise income, expenses, customer advances, vendor payments, outstanding amounts and other financial transactions to provide management with a clear view of project finances. 7. MIS & Financial Reporting
Prepare regular financial reports for the Directors, including:
- Vendor Outstanding & Payment Report
- Customer Outstanding & Ageing Report
- Bank & Cash Position
- Cash Flow Report
- Project-wise Income & Expenses
- Monthly Expense Report
- GST & TDS Reconciliation
- Payables & Receivables Reports
- Monthly P&L; and other financial MIS
The candidate should be able to analyse the numbers and highlight important financial issues, payment requirements, outstanding risks and unusual expenses to the Directors. 8. Monthly Closing & Audit
- Handle monthly, quarterly and yearly closing of accounts.
- Prepare provisions, accruals, depreciation and necessary adjustment entries.
- Prepare schedules required for P&L; and Balance Sheet.
- Maintain accounts in an audit-ready manner.
- Handle documentation and requirements for statutory and financial audits.
- Coordinate with the company's CA, auditors and consultants when required.
9. Financial Control
- Maintain strong control over company payments, expenses, receivables and cash flow.
- Check all financial documents and approvals before processing transactions.
- Identify duplicate invoices, incorrect entries, discrepancies or unsupported expenses.
- Ensure company funds are used appropriately and payments are made according to approved requirements.
- Immediately bring major financial discrepancies or risks to the attention of the Directors.
Required Skills & Experience
- 7–8 years of relevant experience in Accounts & Finance, preferably with experience as a Senior Accountant or Finance & Accounts Manager.
- Strong practical knowledge of GST, TDS, accounting, taxation and statutory compliance.
- Strong experience in vendor payments, receivables, banking and reconciliations.
- Good knowledge of Tally Prime/ERP and MS Excel.
- Ability to independently manage the complete Accounts & Finance function.
- Solid attention to detail, financial discipline and confidentiality.
- Good communication and follow-up skills with vendors, customers, banks, CA and auditors.
- Ability to work independently and take complete ownership of the role.
Qualification B.Com / M.Com preferred. CA Inter, CMA or other relevant finance/accounting qualifications will be an added advantage.
Industry Preference
Elevator/Vertical Transportation industry experience will be highly preferred, particularly candidates familiar with project-based accounting, installation, modernization, AMC and service businesses.
However, candidates from Engineering, Electrical, Manufacturing, Construction, Infrastructure or other relevant industries with strong end-to-end Accounts & Finance experience may also be considered.
Reporting The Finance & Accounts Manager will independently handle the complete Accounts & Finance function and report directly to the Directors. Major financial commitments, exceptional payments and other matters requiring management approval will be presented to the Directors for final approval.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
