Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Executive to oversee daily accounting operations at our office in Chembur. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience handling end-to-end purchase entries, meticulous bank reconciliation, and practical knowledge of GST and TDS compliance. You will ensure financial records are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with statutory regulations.

Key Responsibilities

- Purchase & Data Entry
- Record daily purchase invoices accurately in Tally Prime.
- Verify purchase bills against Purchase Orders (POs) and Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs).
- Maintain and track vendor accounts, accounts payable, and ageing reports.
- Bank Reconciliation
- Perform daily or weekly Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS) in Tally Prime.
- Identify, investigate, and resolve any discrepancies between bank statements and books.
- Statutory Compliance (GST & TDS)




- Calculate and verify TDS deductions on expenses and vendor payments.
- Prepare data for monthly/quarterly GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and perform GSTR-2B reconciliation.
- Assist in the timely deposit of GST and TDS liabilities.
- General Accounting
- Support the senior accountant during month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Maintain structured physical and digital documentation for audit trails.

Requirements & Qualifications

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com), BBA in Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: 2 to 3 years of core accounting experience.
- Technical Skills: Mastery of Tally Prime and strong proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Core Knowledge: Clear understanding of Indian accounting standards, GST structures, and TDS sections.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical capabilities, high attention to detail, and positive communication skills.
