About Gaima Label

Gaima Label is a growing Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) clothing brand dedicated to delivering premium, contemporary apparel. We are looking for a detail-oriented, proactive, and experienced Accountant to manage our daily financial operations, inventory reconciliation, Shopify sales data, and statutory tax compliances.

Key Responsibilities1. Daily Accounting & Bookkeeping

- Maintain accurate ledgers, day-to-day accounts, vendor payouts, and expense entries using Tally Prime and Advanced Excel.
- Perform daily payment gateway reconciliations across platforms (Razorpay, Cashfree, Stripe, COD payouts, and bank statements).
- Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable for fabric suppliers, manufacturing units, dyers, and logistics partners.

1. D2C & Shopify Financial Management

- Reconcile sales, order payouts, refunds, and RTO (Return to Origin) charges between Shopify, payment gateways, and accounting ledgers.
- Track inventory movement, dead stock, and Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) specific to the apparel production cycle.

1. Tax Compliance & Filing

- Prepare and file accurate monthly/quarterly GST Returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and perform GSTR-2B input tax credit reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with TDS, TCS, tax deductions on vendor invoices,



and timely statutory payments.

1. Reporting & Auditing

- Generate monthly Profit & Loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow forecasts for management review.
- Assist internal/external auditors during annual financial audits and tax assessments.

Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 2+ years of hands-on accounting experience (prior experience in the apparel/clothing industry or D2C brand is mandatory).
- Software Skills: Proficiency in Tally ERP / Tally Prime, MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Advanced Formulas), and Shopify backend reports.
- Tax Knowledge: Solid operational knowledge of GST filing, ITC matching, and local tax compliance.
- Language: Fluent in spoken and written English with clear professional communication skills.
- Location: Must be willing to work full-time in-person at our office premises.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
