Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Mumbai. The Accountant will handle day-to-day accounting operations, including recording financial transactions, maintaining general ledgers, and preparing invoices and payment vouchers.

Responsibilities include managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, assisting with monthly and annual closing, and preparing basic financial reports. The role also involves supporting statutory compliance, coordinating with internal teams and external auditors, and ensuring accurate, timely documentation of all financial activities.

Qualifications





- Candidates should possess solid core accounting skills, including bookkeeping, general ledger management, and preparation of financial statements.
- Candidates should possess skills in accounts payable and receivable management, bank reconciliation, and cash flow tracking.
- Candidates should possess proficiency with accounting software and tools (such as Tally, ERP systems, or similar) and strong MS Excel skills.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of relevant taxation, statutory compliance, and basic regulatory requirements applicable in India.
- Candidates should possess strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and the ability to maintain clear, organized financial records.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills to work with operations, management, and external partners.
- A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field is preferred; relevant professional certifications are an advantage.
- Prior experience as an Accountant or in a similar finance role, especially in manufacturing or industrial sectors, will be beneficial.
