Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Mumbai. The Accountant will handle day-to-day accounting activities, including bookkeeping, journal entries, general ledger maintenance, and preparation of financial statements.

Responsibilities include managing accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and supporting payroll processing and tax compliance as needed.



The role involves preparing accurate financial reports, and ensuring adherence to relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements. The Accountant will collaborate with internal teams and clients to provide timely financial information and support business advisory initiatives.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in accounting principles, including experience with bookkeeping, general ledger management, and financial statement preparation.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel, with the ability to perform reconciliations, data analysis, and reporting.
- Knowledge of taxation and compliance processes, with exposure to payroll, statutory filings, and audit support considered an advantage.
- Attention to detail, strong numerical skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with a client-focused mindset and ability to work in an on-site team environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; qualified certifications (e.g., CA Inter, CPA, CMA) are a plus.
- Prior experience in public accounting, business advisory, or working with small and medium enterprises is beneficial.
