Job Summary

Gentleman Mithila is looking for an experienced Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities and support the smooth financial operations of our hotel. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting knowledge, attention to detail, and relevant experience in a similar role.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle day-to-day accounting and financial transactions.
- Maintain accurate books of accounts and financial records.
- Record and verify invoices, receipts, payments, and expenses.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform bank, cash, and ledger reconciliations.
- Monitor daily sales and revenue records.
- Coordinate with hotel departments regarding billing, payments, and financial documentation.
- Prepare regular accounting reports and statements.
- Assist with monthly closing and financial reporting activities.
- Maintain proper documentation of accounting records.
- Support statutory and tax-related accounting requirements.




- Assist management with financial information and reports when required.
- Ensure accounting entries and records are accurate and updated on time.

Requirements
- B.Com / M.Com or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in Accounting or a similar role.
- Previous experience in the hospitality / hotel industry is preferred.
- Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial procedures.
- Experience with accounting software and MS Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of GST and other applicable statutory requirements will be an advantage.
