Key Responsibilities

- Financial Reporting &
- Finalisation

: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including Balance Sheets and Profit &
- Loss statements.

- Inventory &

- Stock Valuation

: Manage the valuation of precious metals and gemstones. This includes tracking melting losses, wastage, purity levels, and "Average Book Stock Rates" for raw materials.

- Taxation &

- Compliance

: Ensure timely filing of GST and TDS returns. Manage statutory audits and liaise with external auditors and tax consultants.

- Costing Analysis: Develop product costing systems that account for metal weight, stone costs, and making charges (labour).

- Accounts Payable/Receivable: Monitor vendor balances and customer ledgers, ensuring timely collections and payments to suppliers/contractors.

- Banking &

- Cash Flow

: Manage daily cash operations, bank reconciliations, and working capital to ensure operational stability.

- Team Leadership: Supervise junior accountants and accounts staff, assigning tasks and reviewing work for accuracy.
