Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities, maintain accurate financial records, process transactions, and support the Accounts & Finance team in ensuring proper financial control and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

- Record and maintain daily accounting transactions accurately.
- Handle sales, purchase, receipt, payment, journal, and expense entries.
- Verify invoices, bills, vouchers, and supporting documents.
- Maintain customer and supplier ledgers and perform regular reconciliation.
- Prepare and verify sales and purchase invoices.
- Handle accounts receivable and accounts payable activities.
- Perform bank reconciliation and monitor bank transactions.
- Maintain cash book and monitor petty cash transactions.
- Assist in GST-related accounting and documentation.
- Assist in preparation of GST returns, TDS, and other statutory requirements.
- Verify purchase and sales entries with supporting documents.
- Coordinate with the Purchase, Sales, Stores, Production, and Dispatch departments for accounting-related matters.
- Monitor outstanding customer and supplier balances.
- Assist in monthly closing and preparation of financial statements.
- Maintain proper filing and documentation of accounting records.




- Identify accounting discrepancies and report them to the reporting manager.
- Assist in audit preparation and provide required documents and information.
- Ensure timely and accurate data entry in the company's accounting/ERP system.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial and company information.
- Perform other accounting and finance-related duties assigned by management.

Required Skills
- Valuable knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
- Proficiency in Tally / ERP / accounting software.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel.
- Knowledge of GST, TDS, and basic statutory compliance.
- Good numerical and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to maintain proper records and documentation.
- Ability to work within deadlines.
- Knowledge of FMCG/manufacturing accounting will be an added advantage.

Educational Qualification
- B.Com / M.Com or equivalent qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in accounting or a related role.
- Experience in an FMCG, manufacturing, trading, or food-products company will be preferred.

Pay: From ₹15,000.00 per month
