Role Description The A Level Economics Tutor will deliver remote, part time live tutoring sessions focused on the A Level Economics curriculum, including both microeconomics and macroeconomics.

Responsibilities include planning and teaching clear, concept-based lessons, explaining economic theories with practical examples, and supporting students in exam preparation and coursework. The tutor will assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and adjust lesson plans to meet individual learning needs and pace.



The role also involves maintaining regular communication with learners (and when required, parents or guardians) to discuss progress and learning goals, while adhering to WayNova Learning’s standards for safe, structured, and engaging online classes.

Qualifications

- Strong subject-matter expertise in Economics, including Microeconomics and Macroeconomics.
- Solid foundation in Mathematics relevant to A Level Economics, including quantitative and analytical skills.
- Excellent Communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly to diverse learners.
- Prior experience tutoring or teaching A Level or equivalent Economics courses online.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Economics, Finance, or a closely related discipline (teaching certification is an advantage).
- Comfort with online teaching tools, digital whiteboards, and learning platforms.
- Ability to create structured lesson plans, manage time effectively, and support students preparing for exams.
- Commitment to inclusive, learner-centered teaching and the ability to work with students from different countries and backgrounds.
