Role Overview

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Junior 3D Visualizer to join our design studio team. In this role, you will be responsible for bringing interior design concepts to life through accurate 3D modeling, realistic texturing, lighting, and visual rendering.

Working closely with the Senior Interior Designers and Studio Head, you will translate 2D layout drawings and material palettes into realistic 3D SketchUp models and high-quality renders for client presentations.

Key Responsibilities

A. 3D Modeling & Layout Development

- Build accurate 3D interior models in SketchUp based on 2D AutoCAD layout plans, elevation drawings, and designer briefs.
- Model modular units, cabinetry, wardrobes, loose furniture, lighting fixtures, and architectural details in line with Farwood’s product standards.
- Maintain clean, organized SketchUp files with structured layers, components, and groups for efficient team collaboration and updates.

B. Texturing, Lighting & Rendering

- Apply realistic materials, textures, and finishes (e.g., wood veneers, laminates, lacquers, metals, fabrics) following design specifications.
- Set up balanced lighting (natural, ambient, and artificial lights) to accurately portray spatial atmosphere and depth.
- Produce high-quality 3D visual renders using rendering engines (e.g., V-Ray, Corona, or similar) for client pitches and presentations.

C. Studio Support & Team Coordination





- Incorporate quick design modifications and feedback from the Studio Head and Senior Interior Designers within established timelines.
- Assist in organizing and maintaining the studio’s digital library of 3D assets, textures, finishes, and furniture blocks.
- Ensure rendered visuals accurately match specified materials, hardware, and space dimensions before final review.

Key KPIs

- On-time delivery of 3D models and rendered perspectives as per studio schedules.
- Visual accuracy, lighting quality, and adherence to designer specifications.
- Speed and adaptability in executing design revisions.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree, Diploma, or Certification in Interior Design, Architectural Visualization, Multimedia, or a related field.
- Experience: 1–3 years of hands-on experience in 3D interior modeling and visualization, preferably in a residential or commercial interior firm.
- Software Proficiency:
- High proficiency in SketchUp for 3D modeling.
- Proficiency in rendering engines such as V-Ray, Corona, Enscape, or Lumion.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD (to read and import 2D floor plans/elevations).
- Basic knowledge of Photoshop for post-production touch-ups and image enhancement.
- Core Skills: Solid sense of spatial proportion, lighting, camera angles, color composition, and material textures.
