About the Role

Planning Labs is looking for a creative 3D Designer to develop event environments and exhibition stalls that are visually strong, aligned with the client’s brief and practical to fabricate.

Key Responsibilities

- Design exhibition booths, event stages, brand activation setups, entrance structures and product displays.
- Convert client briefs and venue dimensions into concepts, layouts and 3D visualisations.
- Prepare realistic renders showing materials, lighting, branding and finishes.
- Create layouts that account for visitor movement, seating, storage and product display.
- Prepare dimensioned layouts and production drawings as required.
- Coordinate with graphic designers, client servicing and production teams.
- Revise designs based on client feedback, budgets and venue guidelines.




- Consider fabrication methods and installation requirements during design development.

What We Are Looking For
- A portfolio demonstrating relevant 3D design ability.
- Proficiency in 3ds Max, SketchUp, Blender or a comparable 3D tool.
- Ability to render using V-Ray, Corona, Lumion or a comparable renderer.
- Understanding of scale, spatial planning, materials and lighting.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD or dimensioned drawings is an advantage.
- Experience in events or exhibition design is preferred. Robust junior portfolios will also be considered.
