Job SummarynWe are looking for an experienced Jewellery Accountant with hands-on knowledge of GATI Software and accounting operations in the diamond and jewellery industry. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate accounts, jewellery/diamond stock records, purchase and sales entries, payments, receipts, and reconciliation.

Key Responsibilitiesn

- Maintain day-to-day accounting transactions in GATI Software .

- Handle purchase, sales, purchase return and sales return entries.
n
- Maintain diamond and jewellery stock records, including weight, quantity, carat and value .
n
- Record and verify issue, receipt and transfer of diamonds/jewellery between departments.
n
- Maintain customer and supplier ledgers and perform regular ledger reconciliation.
n




- Handle cash, bank, receipt and payment entries .
n
- Prepare and verify invoices, vouchers, debit notes and credit notes .
n
- Reconcile bank accounts and outstanding receivables/payables.
n
- Monitor customer outstanding payments and supplier outstanding balances.
n
- Maintain accurate records of diamond/jewellery purchases, sales and stock movements .
n
- Coordinate with the Sales, Purchase, Production, Inventory and Management teams for accounting-related matters.
n
- Verify physical stock and system stock wherever required.
