What we are looking for

Role: Financial Messaging & Middleware Engineer (FIX / SWIFT)

Experience Range: 6 to 12 Years

Location: Chennai/Bangalore/Hyderbad

Must Have:

- 5+ years of experience in Financial Messaging, Payment Processing, or Capital Markets environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with SWIFT Messaging (MT/MX) and ISO 20022 standards
- Experience in FIX Protocol (FIX 4.x/FIX 5.x) administration, onboarding, troubleshooting, and connectivity management.
- Expertise in financial transaction flows, trade lifecycle, settlements, reconciliations, and payment processing.
- Strong knowledge of SWIFT MT/MX messages, CBPR+, pacs.008, pacs.009, camt messages, and payment investigations.
- Experience with messaging middleware technologies such as IBM MQ, MQ Series, WebSphere MQ, or equivalent.
- Hands-on experience in incident management, production support, problem management, and root cause analysis.
- Knowledge of Linux/Unix environments and shell scripting.
- Ability to monitor message flows, queues, gateways, and troubleshoot failed transactions.
- Strong understanding of Banking, Payments, Treasury, Securities, or Capital Markets domains.

Good to Have:





- Experience with Middleware platforms such as IBM WebSphere, JBoss, WebLogic, DataPower, or MQ Appliances.
- Knowledge of Electronic Trading Platforms and FIX Engines (QuickFIX/J, CameronFIX, etc.).
- Experience with SWIFT Alliance Access (SAA), SWIFT Alliance Gateway (SAG), SWIFTNet, or related products.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Knowledge of DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, and automation scripting.
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, or ELK.
- Familiarity with regulatory and compliance standards in financial institutions.
- ITIL certification or Production Support experience in a 24x7 environment.

Essential:

- We are looking for a Financial Messaging & Middleware Engineer (FIX / SWIFT) responsible for supporting and managing enterprise messaging infrastructure used in banking, payments, and capital markets environments. The candidate will handle FIX connectivity, SWIFT messaging platforms, ISO 20022 migrations, middleware administration, incident resolution, and ensure reliable, secure, and high-performance transaction processing across financial systems. Experience with payment messaging platforms, IBM MQ, and production support in financial services is highly preferred

Minimum Qualification:

- 15 years of full-time education
- Minimum percentile of 50% in 10th, 12th, UG & PG (if applicable)
