About the Role The Science Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging Science lessons aligned with the

iCBSE curriculum , with a strong focus on conceptual understanding, practical learning, scientific thinking, and real-world applications. The teacher will create an environment where students are encouraged to ask questions, conduct investigations, analyze evidence, and develop a deeper understanding of scientific concepts.

What You'll Do Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons aligned with the

iCBSE curriculum . Teach relevant areas of

Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and General Science

based on grade-level requirements and subject specialization. Use experiments, demonstrations, practical activities, projects, and real-world examples to strengthen conceptual understanding. Encourage students to ask questions, investigate scientific concepts, and develop a scientific mindset. Develop students'

critical thinking, analytical reasoning, problem-solving, and observation skills . Design differentiated learning experiences to support students with varying abilities and learning needs. Use digital tools, multimedia resources, simulations, and modern teaching aids to enhance classroom learning. Plan and conduct laboratory activities in accordance with appropriate safety procedures. Assess student learning through assignments, quizzes, tests, projects, practical work, and other appropriate assessment methods.



Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback. Maintain appropriate student records, assessment documentation, and learning resources. Support students in preparing for academic assessments and examinations. Encourage students to connect classroom Science with real-world applications and current developments. Participate actively in school events, exhibitions, science fairs, clubs, competitions, and extracurricular activities. Collaborate with colleagues, coordinators, parents, and school leadership to support student development.

What We're Looking For Bachelor's or Master's degree in

Science, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or a related field . B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification

preferred. Minimum

5 years of teaching experience , preferably in

iCBSE/CBSE or similar school environments . Solid subject knowledge and ability to explain scientific concepts clearly. Good understanding of practical and activity-based Science teaching. Strong classroom management and communication skills. Ability to create engaging, student-centered learning experiences. Good organizational and planning skills. Ability to use educational technology and digital learning tools effectively. Passion for Science education and student development.

Experience & Curriculum Experience teaching

iCBSE/CBSE

is preferred. Teachers with experience in

ICSE, Cambridge, IGCSE,



IB, or other recognized school curricula

with strong Science teaching experience may also be considered. Experience teaching multiple Science disciplines such as

Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or General Science

will be an advantage, depending on the grade level.

Preferred Skills Strong practical and laboratory teaching skills. Experience organizing

Science exhibitions, Science fairs, projects, and competitions . Ability to use inquiry-based and experiential learning approaches. Familiarity with digital simulations and educational technology. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to motivate students and develop curiosity about Science. Commitment to continuous professional development.
