About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in property accounting, financial management, and service charge reconciliations. Hands-on experience with Yardi Voyager is a strong advantage, as this role plays a key part in maintaining accurate financial records, generating reports, and managing end-to-end property financials.

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Property Accounting & Lease Administration
Oversee day-to-day property accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries.
Partner with the lease administration team to ensure precise recording of lease terms, tenant billing, and financial updates.
Preparation of property-related VAT returns.

Financial Reporting & Analytics
Prepare, analyze, and distribute monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for managed properties.
Reconcile accounts, identify discrepancies, and perform variance analysis against budgets.
Deliver clear commentary and explanations on financial performance to clients.
Generate customized financial reports using standard software tools to support decision-making.

Budgeting & Service Charge Management
Updating budgets for service charge and Rent Demand.




Prepare regular service charge reports for property managers.
Execute annual service charge reconciliations across all tenant accounts at year-end.

Yardi System Management (Preferred)
Utilize Yardi modules to manage core financial transactions, service charge configurations, and budget setups.
Run standard Yardi reports to verify data accuracy and operational completeness.

Compliance & Collaboration
Ensure adherence to standard accounting principles, regulatory policies, and company guidelines.
Coordinate with external auditors during financial audits and gather required documentation.

Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
Experience: 3+ years of professional accounting experience, ideally within real estate or property management.
Software: Proficiency in real estate accounting platforms; Yardi experience is a strong plus.
Soft Skills: High attention to detail, strong analytical capability, and transparent written/verbal communication skills.
