Technical Writer – MadCap Flare Experience: 4–6 years Maximum CTC: ₹9 LPA Location: Kochi / Open to relocation Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Technical Writer with strong hands-on expertise in MadCap Flare and product documentation. The ideal candidate should be able to understand complex software/product functionalities and convert them into clear, structured, and user-friendly documentation. The candidate will work closely with Product Managers, Developers, SMEs, QA and other stakeholders to create and maintain high-quality technical content for enterprise/SaaS products. Key Responsibilities Create, maintain and update user guides, administrator guides, online help, release notes, SOPs and knowledge base articles . Develop and publish documentation using MadCap Flare . Create structured, reusable and well-organized technical content. Work with developers, product managers and SMEs to understand product functionality and documentation requirements. Convert complex technical concepts and workflows into clear and easy-to-understand documentation. Create and maintain online help systems and product documentation . Prepare documentation for product releases and feature enhancements. Develop API/integration documentation where required. Create process flows, screenshots,



diagrams and other visual documentation using tools such as Snagit, Visio or similar tools . Follow documentation standards, templates, style guides and content governance processes. Perform content reviews, proofreading, quality checks and publication readiness checks. Maintain documentation repositories and knowledge bases. Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment . Ensure documentation is accurate, consistent, current and aligned with product releases. Required Skills 4–6 years of experience in Technical Writing / Product Documentation . Strong hands-on experience with MadCap Flare . Experience creating software/product documentation for SaaS or enterprise applications. Strong experience with: User Guides Administrator Guides Online Help Release Notes SOPs Knowledge Base Articles Process Documentation Valuable understanding of HTML, XML and Markdown . Experience with Information Architecture / structured documentation . Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work with developers, SMEs and product teams. Experience with documentation/project collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence or Azure DevOps . Good understanding of Agile/Scrum and software development lifecycle . Ability to create screenshots, process flows and technical diagrams.
