Job Summary We are seeking an experienced

Workday HCM Functional Consultant

with 7–8 years of overall HRIS/ERP consulting experience and strong expertise in

Workday HCM implementations, configurations, and support . The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in gathering business requirements, configuring Workday HCM modules, managing end-to-end implementations, and providing functional guidance to business stakeholders. The consultant will work closely with HR, business users, technical teams, and project managers to deliver scalable and efficient Workday solutions aligned with organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities Lead and participate in

Workday HCM implementation, enhancement, and support projects . Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from HR and business stakeholders. Configure and maintain Workday HCM modules including: Core HCM Organizations Staffing Models Job Profiles Business Processes Compensation Absence Management Advantages Talent & Performance Design and configure business process workflows, security roles, and organizational structures. Conduct fit-gap analysis and recommend Workday best practices. Support data conversion, data validation, and migration activities. Collaborate with integration teams for inbound and outbound integrations. Create functional design documents, configuration workbooks, and testing scripts. Execute system testing, UAT support, and deployment activities. Provide production support, issue resolution, and system optimization recommendations.



Deliver user training and knowledge transfer sessions to business users. Stay current with Workday releases and evaluate new features for business adoption.

Required Skills Functional Skills Strong expertise in

Workday HCM Core Configuration . Experience with multiple Workday implementation and support projects. Knowledge of: Core HCM Compensation Absence Management Talent Management Performance Management Recruiting Benefits Administration Experience in business process configuration and security administration. Strong understanding of HR processes and employee lifecycle management. Experience with Workday reporting, calculated fields, and dashboards. Technical Understanding Basic understanding of: Workday Integrations EIB Workday Studio Core Connectors APIs and data interfaces Experience supporting testing and data migration activities.

Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. 7–8 years of overall experience with at least

4+ years of Workday HCM Functional Consulting experience . Experience in at least

2–3 full-cycle Workday implementations . Hands-on expertise in Workday configuration and functional design. Strong stakeholder management and client-facing communication skills. Experience working in Agile and Waterfall project environments.
