This position is part of a construction project at Palhera, Meerut, involving development of UPSRTC Maintenance Workshop/Depot facilities being constructed by NCRTC for the Delhi-Meerut RRTS Corridor. The scope includes administrative buildings, depot/workshop structures, PEB and steel structures, maintenance pits, roads and associated civil, structural, architectural and electrical works.
Job Summary
We are looking for Safety Engineers / Safety Stewards to monitor and support implementation of Safety, Health & Workplace requirements across the project site.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor compliance with project SHE and safety requirements.
Conduct regular site inspections and identify unsafe conditions.
Monitor protected working practices across construction work fronts.
Identify hazards and unsafe acts/conditions and report them immediately.
Ensure workers follow required safety procedures.
Monitor use of PPE and compliance with site safety instructions.
Coordinate with site teams to implement corrective actions.
Conduct toolbox talks and communicate safety precautions.
Maintain safety inspection records and documentation.
Support safe execution of construction activities during assigned shifts.
Escalate responsible safety concerns to project management immediately.
Candidate Requirements
Technical qualification.
SHE-related certificate/course.
Minimum 10 years of experience.
Experience in construction/infrastructure site safety.
Good knowledge of safety inspection and site safety practices.
Willingness to work in day/night shifts.
Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate
Meerut, Uttar Pradesh: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Preferred)
