Role : Production Sr. Operator

Team : Formulation Plant, Dahej

Role & responsibilities To oversee and support production operations, ensuring smooth running of processes, adherence to quality, safety, and productivity standards, and guiding junior operators for effective plant performance.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
Operate, monitor, and control production equipment as per SOPs.
Supervise day-to-day production activities on the shop floor.
Ensure compliance with Quality, Setting, Health & Safety standards.
Coordinate with shift executives for production targets.
Assist in all the operational issues on shopfloor.
Maintain accurate records, logbooks, and reports.
Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and escalate to maintenance if required.
Train, mentor, and guide junior operators.
Ensure optimal utilization of raw materials, manpower, and equipment.




Support continuous improvement activities (5S, Kaizen).

Functional Competencies:
Robust knowledge of production processes, equipment handling, and operational parameters.
Understanding of safety practices, hazard identification, and emergency handling.
Ability to read and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Basic knowledge of quality standards (ISO/QMS, GMP, etc.).
Positive communication and leadership skills for guiding a team.
Troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Record keeping and basic computer skills.

Preferred candidate profile
Core Education: Diploma in Mechanical, Chemical, or related field.
Core Experience in agrochemical industry.
