Position: Production Engineer

JOB PURPOSE To lead current production line setup, equipment installation, layout planning and process improvement to achieve production targets, quality, productivity and cost efficiency.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
New Line Setup: Execute new production line installation, trial runs, process validation and mass production launch.
Layout Planning: Prepare and optimize line layouts considering material flow, operator movement and space utilization.
Equipment Installation: Lead installation, commissioning and trials of heavy presses (up to 2,000 tons), injection molding machines and related equipment.
Assembly Line Development: Set up, balance and improve assembly lines to achieve production and quality targets.
Process Improvement: Drive productivity improvement, cycle-time reduction, quality improvement and manufacturing cost reduction.
Production Support:



Resolve process and equipment issues through root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Project Management: Coordinate with Technical, Maintenance, Quality, Materials and suppliers for project execution and timely launch.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Hands-on experience in new production line setup from installation to mass production.
Experience in layout planning, line balancing and material flow optimization.
Experience with 2,000-ton presses or injection molding machine installation and commissioning is highly preferred.
Practical experience in assembly line setup and improvement.
Solid knowledge of manufacturing processes, cycle time, productivity and quality improvement.
Proven track record of independently executing projects with measurable results.
Robust problem-solving, project management and cross-functional coordination skills.
