About the Role

We're looking for a QA Engineer with hands-on automation experience to help us deliver high-quality, reliable software. You'll design and maintain automated test suites, work closely with developers and product owners in an Agile environment, and play a key role in keeping quality high across every release.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications using Selenium and Playwright.
Build and enhance BDD test frameworks using Cucumber, writing explicit, reusable feature files and step definitions.
Review user stories and acceptance criteria to create comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
Perform functional, regression, integration, and smoke testing across sprints.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
Identify, log, track, and verify defects using tools like Jira, and work with developers to resolve them.
Participate actively in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Maintain test documentation, reports, and quality metrics.

Must-Have Skills
23 years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on test automation.
Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver using Python or Java.




Practical experience with the Cucumber BDD framework (Gherkin syntax, feature files, step definitions).
Working knowledge of Playwright for modern web automation.
Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Experience with version control (Git) and test frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, or PyTest.
Positive understanding of locator strategies, waits, and Page Object Model (POM) design.
Strong analytical, debugging, and communication skills.

Good-to-Have Skills
Exposure to performance testing tools such as JMeter, Gatling, or k6.
Basic knowledge of security testing concepts (OWASP Top 10) and tools like OWASP ZAP or Burp Suite.
API testing experience using Postman or REST Assured.
Familiarity with cloud platforms or containerization (Docker).

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
ISTQB certification is a plus.
