Role Overview The Head of Production / Production Manager will lead end-to-end manufacturing operations to ensure safe, effective, cost-effective, and high-quality production. The role involves production planning, execution, team leadership, process optimization, quality assurance, cost control, and continuous improvement to achieve production targets and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
Plan, organize, and execute production operations to achieve monthly targets.
Ensure adherence to process parameters, SOPs, and quality standards.
Lead, motivate, and develop production teams across shifts.
Drive productivity improvements and reduce wastage, rejection, and downtime.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams for smooth operations.
Ensure safety, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Monitor KPIs, prepare reports, and present performance insights to management.
Manage high-volume, multi-shift manufacturing operations.
Improve production efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.

Required Competencies

Strong manufacturing process knowledge.
Analytical and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and 5S.
Understanding of quality systems and process control.
Robust cross-functional coordination skills.
Ability to manage high-volume, multi-shift manufacturing operations.
Solid decision-making and crisis-management skills.
Excellent communication and MIS reporting skills.

Experience Required
14+ years of relevant manufacturing experience.
Preference for candidates with experience in:
Solar Glass Manufacturing
Solar Module / Panel Manufacturing
Glass Processing
High-volume manufacturing environments
Proven experience managing production teams, multiple shifts, production targets, quality, manpower, and plant operations.
Experience in productivity improvement, process optimization, cost reduction, and OEE improvement will be preferred.

Job Location Mundra, Gujarat

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month
